Our certifications with the Austrian Ecolabel (current certificate) and the EU Ecolabel (current certificate) confirm: We use in our printing and production processes no substances that are toxic to humans or harmful to the environment.
Active climate protection is becoming ever more important for companies, including ourselves as a printing firm. We have had a CO2 record created and offer climate-neutral printing products on request. This means that we can compensate the greenhouse gases generated by your printed product with selected climate projects from ClimatePartner (ClimatePartner , projects ). You thus commit to active climate protection. The order-related ID number on the label guarantees transparent communication. You are guaranteed additional certainty by the process of ClimatePartner for the compensation of CO2 emissions, which is certified by TÜV Austria.

It is important to us where the energy for production comes from. This is why the printing companies obtain 100 percent green electricity from Austria. (Österr. UW-Nr. 1185) Green electricity is electricity from the renewable energy sources biomass (solid, liquid and gaseous), geothermal energy, sun, water and wind that meets the requirements of the UZ46 guideline.

With our free-cooling system of the new printing machine, we alleviate the burden on our climate by 44.86 tonnes of CO2 every year Zertifikat. Free cooling means that the cool outside air is used as a free source of cooling for our printing process. With the same cooling output, the system replaces the cooler of conventional air-conditioning systems.
In addition, as a result of the optimisation of our ventilation system a further 109.2 tonnes of CO2 are saved every year.
Recycling is of the utmost priority for us. For this reason, all printing plates are recycled in full. In addition, we sort our paper waste into different categories. These are returned to the production cycle as old paper.
“Printed in Austria” stands for printing entirely in Austria. The printing plants with this label produce regionally, ensure Austrian jobs and preserve the value added in the country. Druck Styria and Druck Carinthia are members of this community.More information can be found here

The CSR seal (Druck Styria // Druck Carinthia) of approval for the printing industry certifies the assumption of social responsibility. Certified companies behave verifiably fairly and responsibly towards employees, business partners and their business environment.
The printing output of our newspaper printing plants has regularly been ranked among the world’s best by the International Newspaper Color Quality Club. Perfectly coordinated pre-press and printing work is the prerequisite for our printing result which is a world leader in newspaper printing.
For our customers, this means the reliable reproduction of image and advertisement by printing within the boundaries of the ISO standards and maximum fit accuracy of the printing.
The Color Quality Club is the only global competition for newspapers with regard to printing quality. Every two years, there is a battle for inclusion in the Club. The permanently correct printing quality is measured technically over a period of three months based on standards and evaluated by a jury.
Druck Styria and Druck Carinthia are members of the Star Club, the open exclusively to printing companies that have been included in the Color Quality Club at least five times.
